First one ever. This is a macro mode crop from my smartphone. My M575 ran down just before I spotted this. Still a good macro from my phone.

This is in macro focus with the Galaxy S.

Taken with my Galaxy S. I like the quality of the photos so far.

I picked up an new phone today. It's a Samsung Galaxy S 4G. It's replacing my Dell Mini 9 netbook that I was using with a Cricket mobile broadband modem and my ancient Nokia 6010 cellphone. It has a 5 megapixel camera and records 720p HD video. It also has a webcam. So far I like it.

My wife picked this up for me quite a few months ago at a yard sale. I think she gave $10 for it. Has the flash, a 'nifty fifty' and a 80-200 zoom. It also has a 2x tele-converter and a nice bag. All I had to do was replace the battery. From what I know about this it is an SLR that is an aperture priority automatic. Another words the only real control is the aperture setting (and ISO), the camera handles shutter speed. I think I'm going to try it out. Oh, and in case you didn't know it is a 35mm film camera.
You know the tune! :D I shot some 16:9 yesterday at the lake. I knew I'd like this one as I was framing it in the screen. SOOC.
I guess that is what they are supposed to be! Caught another costumed crusader for tax preparation today.
This is me, Joe. I'm at work on break taking some self portraits. Now if I could just stop squinting! That beard could use a trim too! :D
These were taken on December 29th, 2010 with my Z612 in my kitchen sink with only the flash and the overhead light. The only thing I did was crop these.
I'm interested in creating tilt-shift photos. Found a place on the web that does it. Tilt Shift Maker. I uploaded the original and used the defaults, but increased the focus area, and came up with this. Pretty neat. I chose this shot because of all of the details. Check out the flickr group! My Mother passed away February the 4th, 1979. My Brother placed these flowers at her grave in memory. I put a simple frame around this crop of one. We love and miss you Mom!
This is Jessie and Melvin my in-laws. Melvin had a serious stroke about 9 months ago. As you may know he has been in and out of the hospital during the past month, fighting for his life. He came home Sunday the 6th and is doing very well.
